So the question is: what's causing the slowdown? I don't have a 64-bit Win OS to test against, and I'm loathe to throw more money at MS only to find on my virgin computer that it works fine (usually the case). Are any of you within 45 mins of Seattle, with a Win 64 installation, showing these negative behaviours?
