I just created a new plan with the 9 planets in it
(including Pluto :). Saved it five times (deleted and
re-added Pluto each time). Saving it takes around 9 secs
pretty consistently (determined by counting
one-one-thousand, two-one-thousand, etc).

I then created a new plan with all the Messier objects.
Saved it five times (deleted and re-added M1 each time).
Saving it takes around 9 secs consistently (same timing method).

HP G71 Notebook
Windows 7 64 bit
Core 2 Duo CPU T6600 @ 2 x 2.20GHz
4GB RAM

Paul: The delay in saving a plan is not an issue for me. I
mentioned it in my original email simply because it is the
only "slow" behavior AstroPlanner displays on my computer.

Regards,

Igor
