[APBeta] AstroPlanner V2.0b34 Notes

Paul,
I am looking forward to testing the built in drivers. In earlier releases I
could not get a persistent connection using Bluetooth. I though it was
working but I did not realize it took a power cycle of AP for any changes
between scope interfaces to take effect. In other words I though I was
switching to the built in interfaces from ASCOM but the ASCOM remained in
control until after the next restart of AP prompting me to think the built
in was working with BT. ASCOM worked well with BT and direct except AP would
not let me change any parameters inside ASCOM. I had to bring up ASCOM in
another program to change any parameters. Another quirk was that POTH would
not work with AP. Anyhow I'll check out b34 on the Aircable soon and report
back.
Bob

Not mentioned in the release notes is the the fact that some serious
work was done on the telescope control stuff. Hopefully it will behave
a lot better now. Note that this is with the built-in telescope
drivers, not ASCOM (which might well benefit from this release, or
not) which was not tested.
