[APBeta] Windows crashes

I can't get the main AP window to be small enough to 'lose' the new 
date/time panel.  However AP crashes fairly reliably whilst resizing the 
window using Restore Down and Maximize icons (top-right of the window).  
Dr. W. produced a log if you want it.
