[APBeta] AP V2.3a11 - no high res display on Mac

AP 2.3a11 is the first version of AP 2.3 that I have tried and I was surprised to see that there is no high-resolution text visible on my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) running OS X 10.12.3. I seem to recall that “retina support" was a new feature that was implemented in a earlier version of AP 2.3a.

When I look at the “Get Info” window for the app, I see that the option “Open in low resolution” is checked but it is “grayed out” so that it can’t be unchecked. Was this simply overlooked?
