I'm somewhat confused. V2 has an observation database. All observations go in there. No observation data goes into a plan document (.apd). So I'm a bit baffled as to this "observed.apd" file. Are you saying that you keep a large plan document containing all the objects you have observed? Why do you do this?

I'm also not understanding the first sentence. How are you "finding objects" in the "database"? Are you referring to a plan document or the observation database?

Perhaps if you could give a step-by-step explanation of how you are "finding objects to observe".
