When I reinstall a new version, I follow a couple of standard steps (for
Windoze):

1. Backup my data files, plans, etc.
2. Under the Program Files folder, I rename the Astroplanner
installation folder as Astroplanner.bxx
3. I then perform the install of the new version, which creates a new
fresh Astroplanner folder.
