[APBeta] Windows flickering: Good news/bad news

The good news is that I just tried the latest alpha of the compiler to see what effects it has on the Windows version of AP. The flickering problem when you open or resize windows has gone! Yup, after a decade of whining, something was finally done about it. This is not an April Fools joke...

The bad news: the fixes have introduced a goodly collection of interface glitches. Hopefully these will be identified and fixed before the final release. I'll sit on the vendor.
