I have just installed Windows 7 64 bit Professional on my Quad Core.
So far so good, there is a peformance increase but I am yet to put APv2
through its paces with my 3000+ object log file and big APD files.
Still get the flicky redraws through and what appears to be fields behind
the visibility displays.
As far as Windows 7 in general, the expereience is great. I get very smooth
performance when opening and closing windows. Very Mac-esk. I dual boot into
Windows 7 and Vista and the real test is which one my wife likes ;-) she has
noticed a significant performance imporvement and wants to use Windows 7
instead on the Vista boot. So big wraps for Windows 7 in our house.
