Some observations, not sure if these have been mentioned before....
1. When trying to open CdC V3.1.1.6 from AP, it still looks for the old CdC
V2 programe file CdC.exe. My latest CdC download is Skychart.exe
2. What about being able to click on the small map on the RHS and getting
the option to see the object in the CdC FOV; likewise when the tab "MAP" is
selected , a click to bring up the CdC FOV...IMO would imprve the
interaction between AP and CdC.
3. When "centre in CdC FOV" is selected - first time - it will open CdC and
correctly position the object in the FOV. When I then use the telescope
controls (within CdC) to set up the communication with EQMOD ( which it does
successfully) the FOV reverts to the prior CdC view... Any subsequent
request to "centre in CdC FOV" are ignored!!
3.The killer for me at the moment is I can't get AP to communicate to EQMOD
V1.18/ ASCOM V5.5 (sc4) - Telescope Driver V1.5 to drive the NEQ6 or HEQ5
mounts......Selecting ASCOM as a mount doesn't open the ASCOM selection
screen ( which you get when using CdC as the interface) which is needed to
"select" EQMOD....
