Well, the telescope connection code has been _completely_ rewritten
for V2, and includes new functionality that I have gleaned from the
vendor-supplied documentation. Undoubtedly this will require some
debugging.
A good start is to edit the Mount parameters and set the "Show data
flow to and from telescope" option ON. This will (in theory) give you
a trace of the raw commands/responses being used, and might lead to
throwing some light on the matter.
As I've mentioned, once I've conquered some of the more obnoxious bugs
elsewhere, telescope control is on my short list.
