[APBeta] Removing catalogs

The saga continues....

After about 15 min., the app finally started. I tried deleting catalogs
again, and stumbled upon the fact that catlogs are like real-estate in at
least one respect (location, location, location). Because I have multiple
OS's, I keep my catlogs in a separate, non-AP, directory, and just point all
installations to that directory. It appears that when you delete a catlog,
you have to know where it is, and choose that in the "Install in" dropdown
before attempting the remove. At least, that seemed to work for me.

So, I let it go for about 10 minutes, with nothing happening, and then
killed the app. 
I then started it with the shift ket held down, which gave me the option to
backup preferences and reset them, or just reset them. I chose the former.

All I can see is a blank splash screen.  It's chewing up 50% of my
processor, but I don't know what it's doing.

 I'm trying to remove some catalogs from AP v2.0b29. I click the remove
checkboxes (24 catalogs), then click remove. The app hangs for about 5
minutes, then refreshes the window. The catalogs are still there! And the
remove checkboxes are unchecked. I then close the catalog manager, and the
app is now hung once again.

UPDATE -- just as I finished writing the above, the ap has returned  ---
hmm.. well, sort of. It repainted the main window, but I still can't select
or do anything.
