OK, I have uploaded a new pre-release version with more  
"instrumentation", and some fixes that might (or might not) repair the  
problem. Unlikely, since they've been there since V1.x, but if you  
have one or more bad catalogue files, it could be an issue.

Go nuts. Same deal: send me the log.
