I just tried it on Windows XP and it does seem a bit more stable.  
There's still a mystery plan doc that hard crashes, but I suspect it's  
because it has Saturn in it. For some unknown reason (that still has  
me baffled), computing the position of Saturn causes a hard crash  
under some conditions. I'll take another crack at it soon.
