[APBeta] Starting app with no docs open

Hi gang,
Rather seems to depend on what is being used. Starting up some applications
results in a blank document (Word, Excel), whilst others ask what to do
(Access, Visual Studio). Some might even be configurable, can't think of an
example though.
AFAICR (which is about last lunch time :) the Microsoft Windows GUI
documentation does not give a recommendation. Once my copy has been found
I'll check up on that.
Regards
Robin
