[APBeta] Strange startup behavior on V2.0b11

I'll be looking into those errors this morning. To speed things up, if  
you could send me (privately) your "Observation Database" file from  
your V1 folder, it might help track down the "ReadObservations" bug  
that seems to be affecting way too many users.
