AP allows you to be more accurate than the hand controller and found a slight difference so I reset them to be identical but it made no difference in connecting. I also checked the time and they are as close as I can physically get them.</div><div>I selected data flow and took a screen grab of the telescope communication window. See Attached</div><div><br></div><div>The first window shows it after a failed connection attempt.</div><div>The second screen shot after a successful attempt. I had not updated as I originally planned.<br>I went back through the sequence and selected my telescope and attempted again to connect.<br>The same error occurred but this time it allowed me to open up the settings page.<br>I looked at the settings and everything looked OK so I closed everything and tried to connect again and this time it connected.<br>the sky map showed up it's location and slewed OK (still trying indoors) to the object selected.<br><br>I did a couple of slews and all was OK. After 5mins.
