<div><br clear="all">I haven't been doing much beta testing for you Paul :(</div>
<div>Caught up in other projects (book), and the last time I tried V2 I had to go through the hassle of re-entering all the preferences etc etc, BUT</div>
<div>just looked a V2.66.... it's come a long way - well done!!</div>
<div>That was the good news.....</div>
<div>Now the issues:</div>
<div>1. Why leave the time and date entry fields at the RHS of the header? Surely this could be an option under "Edit" or at least have the option of hiding?</div>
<div>2. The telescope listing ( you've made a rod for your back here!) doesn't include the popular guide scope - Skywatcher ST-80 This has the same optical specs as the listed "SK804TAEQ" - whatever that is!</div>
<div>3. The camera listing ( another rod!!) doesn't include the popular QHY cameras. The QHY5 is the #1 guide camera in the UK.</div>
<div>4. The mountings... none of the very popular Skywatcher HEQ5/NEQ6 mounts are listed? OK, unless you are using EQMOD to control them they're basically the NexStar 5/8 but you could show them and still link internally to the NexStar settings??<br>
5. Optics configuration? Not sure if you use this used internally but it could be linked directly to the telescope chosen. Everyone knows the ED80 is a Refractor and a 10"Lx200 is a Schmidt- Cass.</div>
<div>6. In the main screen "objects" there's no security for editing. It would be better to have to press a button or select "Edit Object" before the contents of the field are changed. Then you know you are Editing and it's not just a misplaced key stroke....</div>
<div>7. What happened to the selection of the decimal places for magnitudes???? We had this in V1 and it's very (very) useful for photometry and spectroscopy. Yes please!!</div>
<div>Sorry to be a PITA but you did ask for feedback.</div>
<div>Best,</div>
<div>Ken</div>
