[APBeta] new version on Mac

This might be related to the code I added to “fix” the image database. I forgot that you guys have much bigger image databases than I do. I will correct the issue for the next beta. Meantime, in theory, if you wait long enough the app will start up. I’ll get a fix out in the next few days.
