[APBeta] AP thinks I don't have internet access

When going into Edit > Preferences > Other and then clicking on Catalogue
Preferences, I get the message "Alert! Error trying to access the Internet.
Check your connection."  I also get this message when going into File >
Import > Minor planet data.

 

My internet is fine and working with everything else.

 

I am on the latest beta version.
