Here's what happens: you report a new build is available and I use the link to access it. I download the new build, open the file, and it appears as a virtual external drive. I double click the virtual drive and drag the AP icon to my application file as instructed. Then I open AP and, as if some unknown alien force has commanded, the setup window appears. I know (from experience) that this window is the kiss of death.

I'm planning on dealing with this issue for 2.0.1. However, it's not clear what the cause is, since I've never been able to replicate it. It might be a bad interaction with your security software. However, it should never just wipe out your resource database.
