That's been fixed.

Custom Reticles are different from Imager resources. In order to display imager reticles in that window, select the "As per resources below" entry under FoV Overlay, and select the telescope/imager combination of your choice.

I'm almost tempted to do away with the custom reticle feature altogether now that V2 has imager resources. However, I'm sure that will cause an uprising so I'll leave things as-is for the present.
