OK, I have uploaded the replacement ALDS catalogue, but it won't help.

Turns out it's a bug (which I just fixed). The cross-indexing mechanism ignores Bayer, Flamsteed and GCVS IDs when constructing synonym tables (unless they are the "primary" ID). Depending on the order of construction, it is quite possible to ignore certain catalogue items if the only ID/s they have other than their primary ID is/are Bayer, Flamsteed or GCVS. This is the case with ALDS.

i.e. you'll need to wait for the next release for the fix. If you're desperate, I be happy to post an "interim" release for you to try.

P.S. Your screenshots were encouraging - I haven't seen AP running under Lion before.
