Turns out there's an additional twist: for a catalogue ID to be included in the cross-referencing, it has to be (internally) indexed. Although the ALDS catalogue includes Bayer and Flamsteed IDs, I neglected to index them. I'll be coming out with a revised catalogue in the next 30 mins or so. If you download and replace the old one, it should fix the problem, although you'll need to rebuild the cross-references (I think).

I'll report back when the catalogue is ready.
