You're the best Paul
Ah, I kinda figured it out

path="C:\Mijn Web paginas\Waarnemen\images\"+ob.ID+"chart.png"
printed=c.SaveAsImageFile(path, True)

in the PrintFinderCharts-modd.

The function Image.Save will be in the next release, right?

Anyway, I can now have a pieceful sleep (and a conference tomorrow)
Clear Skies!
Inge

I'm slowly getting there.

I wish I could write a script that would save the DSS images (or the canvas) to a specific directory on disk (to be uploaded to an FTP server)
Is that at all possible?

I've included my plan, xml (still manually adapted somewhat), export xml parameter textfile,
(fovimage field manually for a few records: the corresponding images are also put in manually in the corresponding directory /images),
xsl and css.

I hope Paul would help me (us) out

Well, I have added
function Image.Save(path as string = "") as boolean
(saves the image in a file with the given path)
together with:
function APPlanObject.Images() as Image()function APCatalogObject.Images() as Image()function APObservation.Images() as Image()
(all return a list of images for the object type)
Will that do the trick for you?
Paul R.
