That's not really the fault of Windows. It's more the fault of yours truly who really hates testing the app on Windows. If I was developing the app on Windows, it'd probably be the other way around. There are still plenty of bugs that are not necessarily Windows-related. I just can't reproduce them on either platform.

The main problem with Windows is the plethora of different hardware and software that cause different effects. e.g. serial port problems on Windows depending on which of dozens of brands of USB-to-Serial controllers are in use (for example, it would appear that Prolific devices are hosed on Win 7), dozens of different security software apps imposing their rules on AstroPlanner when it tries to do something, etc. I do my testing on relatively virgin Windows systems that have no other software loaded or running. That isn't the case with you guys.
