Thanks Paul,
What was happening to me was the auto delete kept deleting the image I
wanted to keep, I solved the issue by using the "delete existing images"
when I downloaded the images again.
John
PS: A possible solution to the delete problem would be to give the user an
option of which images(s) to delete.

What is the criteria for deleting duplicate DSS images (when AP2.0 starts
up)? The reason I am asking is that I have several images that were
downloaded in plans that were built with slightly incorrect RA and DEC
values. When I correct these values and re-download the images I would like
the incorrect DSS images deleted.
I don't think I answered this one...
The deletion occurs only if the RA/Dec coordinates of the duplicate images
are identical, so it's not going to help you in this case. There's also the
issue of which image gets deleted: the new one or the old one.
It would not be difficult at all to do what you want. However, I'm debating
whether this should be a script or a built-in feature. A script should do
the job quite nicely.
