I've just noticed that the East and West designations for the alt and az
for an object appear to be reversed in the latest version of
Astroplanner. Its definitely different from version 1.6.1 noticed it
with NGC253 "rising in the West".

No. Feel free to file a feature request. Sounds like a good addition
