Well, apart from the fact that the "get horizon from telescope"  
functionality was half finished (it's finished now), I haven't been  
able to reproduce this. It might well be fixed by other changes I have  
made.

The telescope stuff now seems to be working quite well, apart from  
ASCOM, which is still giving me kittens.
