This is, apparently, a bug with the compiler framework. It's the second most popular bug fix request with the vendor*. However, since it's been around for donkeys years, I don't hold out too much hope for a resolution any time soon.

A good question. The default is "System", which is mapped to the default OS font. I believe it's Tahoma on XP. Dunno about Vista and Win 7. 

Let me investigate this problem.

* the most popular bug fix is some obscure one in Mac OS X that I don't even see as a problem.
