I hate to be a downer, but...

1) these tabs don't really look like windows either, unless windows has updated their UI
recently..

2) divergence from either windows or OSX look and feel on the target platform is
a bad usability decision.

2.1) on OSX, it would be swell if the semi-standard behavior of Splat-(n) where (n) is a number
key {1, 2, 3...} selects that visible tab (numbered left to right).
