[APBeta] Print column width in V2

Paul,
That would help. A lot of times it is the column title that takes up all the column width. Take for example "Log Object Contrast" which contain a small number, 3 digits but has the width of the column title, "Log Object Contrast". In V1 this one printed as LOC. There are some others. It would be nice if the users could define a print column width. If that is not possible then the width percentage would be ok if it did not truncate number fields too severely.

Is there anyway to control print column width in V2? If I print the "Name" column, the column takes up half of the width of the page and doesn't allow but just a few of the other columns to print. I can control this on the display but on paper it takes up to much width. I prefer not to use the "Multi-Line" option in the print dialog.

I'll have to look at the printing script and see if the column width is computed (i.e. to fit the width of the longest Name) or is internally set to some percentage of page width. Stay tuned.

The Name field (and all others) will take on the width of the widest string that needs to be displayed. If you look through the report you'll find at least one Name that fills its column.

I could add a parameter that, say, limits the width of any column to a percentage of the page width (in which case there will be some truncation). Would that work for you?
