Paul,

If you are in London, I can recommend going to Greenwich. I think you'll
be buying an underground pass for the city. Greenwich is located on the
border of regions 2 and 3 and so it can be reached with a standard city
pass for regions 1 and 2.

be within the city, poking around in museums, art galleries, etc.
