[APBeta] Mac version compression

Folks,

I'm trying a new compression technique on the Mac OS X version. The  
size of the application is reduced from 135MB down to 46MB (and it  
also saves a couple of MB on the download size). I cannot see any  
problems with this, but if you see any new problems or slowdowns, let  
me know.

(Windows users might be wondering why the Mac app size is/was so big  
compared with the Windows app. The main reason for this is the fact  
that the Mac version runs natively on both Intel and PowerPC  
processors, and hence needs two completely separate code segments)
