[APBeta] Contextual menus - your opinions

Folks,

Currently, contextual (right-click) menus contain only items that are  
(effectively) enabled. Hence, for example, if a menu item is only  
valid if something is selected in the underlying list, then it will  
only appear if a selection has been made.

The other option is always to have the menu item included, but disable  
it ("grey it out") if it's not relevant. This would seem to be more in  
line with "muscle memory" and approved GUI behaviour. This is also how  
the main menus function.

There are fors and againsts either way. Your feelings on this?
