I could, but I'd prefer to fix the problem if possible. Also, I'm not  
100% sure that's the root cause, since other hard crashing problems  
date to before I added that widget. However, many of the reported  
exceptions seem to implicate said widget. If I don't get anywhere  
soon, I might revert back to the old widget (which is still there if  
the window is smaller than approx. 1200 pixels wide.
