You'd be surprised how many folks don't use the e-mail delivery option.

I could host a forum on the AstroPlanner web site, but (a) I hate  
forums (fora?), (b) I don't have the time to moderate and maintain the  
beast, (c) my response time would drop, since I wouldn't be able to  
access the forums, and (d) it wouldn't have an email option.

OTOH, I could start a mailing list (like this one), but (a) a lot of  
folks don't like it, are scared of spam, etc,, and (b) maintenance is  
a grind.

Yahoo Groups works just fine for me :^) Best of all worlds: forum + e- 
mail + digests + archives. Of course, if Yahoo becomes Microhoo then I  
might consider Google Groups instead :^)
