Hang on a minute. Ignore the above. Sorry.
If the source file is not found then the checkbox is disabled.
The problem in you case is, I suspect, that you have put your
Observation Database file elsewhere (not in the same folder as the
AstroPlanner V1 app), and used the setting in Preferences-
>Observations to point to it. The converter app isn't quite clever
enough and doesn't read the V1 preferences.
I guess I should add that feature.
Meantime, move a copy of your "Observation Database" file back into
the same folder as the V1-toV2 converter app and all should be well.
